During the period 1993-2010, I had work part-time and full-time depending on my academic involvement on the following issues: 



Adviser on different issues and cases related with International Trade Law, arbitration, Communitarian Law on the Andean Community and investment protection for national and foreign companies.



Solicitor on issues related to: intellectual property, services, distribution and agency agreements, telecommunications and competition before national and international courts, such as the Andean Pact Tribunal (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. The latter withdrew from the Treaty in 2006).



Adviser for the private sector on the negotiations of the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) and the Bilateral FTA (Free Trade Agreement- FTA- with the United States), 2000-2006, on issues related to the following chapters of the Treaty: International law, Dispute Settlement, Telecommunications, Competition (agency), Investment and Intellectual Property.



Adviser for the Bogota Mayor´s office, Administrative Department of District Planning in subjects related to the FTA with the United States.



Adviser on the drafting of laws and regulations regarding foreign trade, arbitration and 

Competition, among others.
