Mrs Julian Bordacahar
Julian Bordaçahar currently works as Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (“PCA”) in The Hague. Prior to that, he worked as Foreing Trainee in the International Arbitration Department of LALIVE in Geneva and as a Semi-Senior Associate in Baker & McKenzie, in the Buenos Aires office. After doing an exchange semester at the University of Texas at Austin, Julian graduated as a lawyer at the University of Buenos Aires (“UBA”) where he also pursued post-graduate studies in Oil & Gas Law in 2014. In addition, in 2017, he graduated summa cum laude from the Geneva LL.M in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) of the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He also taught classes in International Sales of Goods and International Commercial Arbitration and Investment Arbitration in the UBA and Universidad del Salvador. He participated as a student representing the UBA in the FDI at King’s College, London in 2011 and the Vis Moot in Vienna in 2012 and 2013 and coached the UBA teams for a number of years; including the UBA team that won the Vis Moot in 2016. He has also participated of several summer programs, including “The Hague Academy of International Law”, “International Investment Law” in Athens in 2016, and “International Academy for Arbitration Law” in Paris in 2014. Finally, he was part of the team-tribunal that won the “Young Arbitrators Match” in Paris in 2014.
