Mr Dimitrios Ioannidis
Dimitrios Ioannidis is a partner of a law firm in Boston and a partner in an international consulting group in Istanbul, Turkey focusing primarily in the areas of international business transactions, arbitration and litigation of complex matters. He worked on various high profile cases providing litigation intelligence gathering, corporate investigations, asset recovery, due diligence and global business intelligence through Boston, New York, London and Turkey.
He has represented the interests of a remarkable cross section of leading regional, national, and international corporations, insurance companies, governments and large banking institutions in complex international matters, including a Stock Exchange of a European Union country on Regulation S and the benefits of becoming a "Designated Offshore Securities Market" in the U.S.A. Also, he worked with banks in the U.K. and Switzerland, many large foreign corporations and U.S. security companies, including one with a significant presence in Iraq. He was a consultant to U.S. security firms on projects including the 2004 Olympic Games and a bid with the U.S. State Department.
He served as an expert on several cases, including a case for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Boston and a large U.K. banking institution, where he testified in the Supreme Court of Judicature, Queens Bench Division of London, U.K. Handled sovereign immunity matters under the Vienna Convention on Consular Affairs and is the author of many articles, including issues of international corporate corruption.
