Thomas Wälde Team Fund

Thomas Wälde

The late Prof. Thomas Wälde and Mr. Ian Laird in September 2008 launched an appeal to raise funds to support developing country teams' participation in the FDI Moot. The Thomas Wälde Team Fund (TWTF) distributes donations in the form of accommodation or travel subsidies. The full amount of all donations received goes to teams. Teams receiving subsidies are selected based on available funds and team needs.

Since 2011, Skadden has matched donations (up to US $1500). The Society of International Economic Law (SIEL) has generously assisted with teams from low HDI countries with donatiosn of up to £2500.
